Join us this World Environment Day for a tree planting event in Kin Kin!
Come together with our community to help protect our precious soil and support a healthy Noosa River Catchment. Guest speaker, Jen Sharpe of Plastic Free Noosa will be joining us with some handy tips on how to reduce plastic use. This family-friendly event is perfect for all ages, so bring the kids along for a morning of fun and meaningful contributions to our local environment.
Your hard work will support the restoration efforts of the Kin Kin community and the "Keeping it in Kin Kin" program. This community-driven soil conservation initiative aims to combat erosion and enhance the health and resilience of Kin Kin Creek.
Tools are provided.
Please bring along gloves for planting and wear suitable outdoor clothing, enclosed shoes and a hat. Bring along a water bottle. Water refills available at the event.
Morning tea and light refreshments provided.
