Join the team from Hollow Log Homes for a fun-filled DIY day building a nest box for you to take home.
Don't have room for a nest box? Why not donate your box to Noosa Landcare's nest box project, installing nesting boxes within fire affected bushland on the Sunshine Coast, or give it to a friend or family member as a gift!
The workshop will also include information on nesting hollow habitat and animals and the installation and monitoring of nest boxes.
Tools can be provided, however only a limited numbers available. Please bring your own if possible.
Tools required include:
- Cordless power drill
- Basic drill bit set and Philips head pieces
Light refreshments provided. Wheel chair access and toilets available.
Workshop fee is $100 per person for members, and $120 per person for non-members, this covers registration and material costs.
