Monitoring Dune Vegetation - Webinar - with Dr Javier Leon, University of the Sunshine Coast
Frequent and high-resolution data are a critical component of any adaptive management program. For example, biophysical data across the coastal zone are required to monitor dune vegetation and calibrate shoreline erosion modelling techniques but are not often available.
In this presentation, Javier will be talking about novel approaches that leverage computer vision, artificial intelligence and even citizen science to cost-effectively derive tools and information that will fill the gaps in our understanding of interactions between dune vegetation, coastal processes and coastal hazards.
This is a Zoom webinar presentation. All registrants will be emailed a link to attend the webinar.
