END OF THE CANE TOAD?

with Prof. Rob Capon, Professorial Research Fellow, University of Queensland, Institute for Molecular Bioscience

Toads!  They are a nightmare for all of us, especially those who love our native wildlife.  They pose a real threat through their toxin or competition for habitat and food.

Join us to learn about an innovative cane toad tadpole trapping technology that uses a natural toad pheromone to lure toad tadpoles into a trap.  Rob will also tell us about the Cane Toad Challenge, a community engagement and citizen science program.
