THREATENED PLANT SPECIES OF THE NOOSA SHIRE

with Liam Scanlan & Owen Snowden, Staff, Noosa & District Landcare

and Joel Fostin, Pandanus dieback mitigation expert

Owen and Liam are involved in an important project in partnership with Noosa Council - survey, propagation and protection of several Threatened, Near-endangered, Vulnerable and Near-threatened plant species of the Noosa Shire.

Joel is passionate about preserving the Pandanus trees we all know and love, which are suffering an alarming rate of loss due to Pandanus dieback.  Joel is on a mission to reverse/ prevent this problem through education, action and continued research.  (* Joel’s current project is funded by the Noosa Biosphere Reserve Foundation.)
